Rob Wasson Indiana Weather Forecast 2/23/2012

Gusty southwest winds today will help to push in very mild air across the state.  Low pressure and a cold front working through the region will drop some rain today and tonight.  Colder air sliding in behind this system will change some rain over to snow.  Northern areas of the state will have the best chance for this mix, with a transition pushing southward into central Indiana by the evening and overnight hours.  Light rain and snow will still be possible on Friday with light snow statewide Friday night.  Northern and eastern areas could still see some light snow on Saturday.  Sunday will be dry and warmer.  The extended two week forecast calls for above average temperatures and rainfall statewide.
