Vote Now for the Next Faces of Farming and Ranching

Faces of FarmingThe U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance, of which the National Corn Growers Association is a founding affiliate, has opened voting for the next set of Faces of Farming and Ranching spokespersons.

Through November 2, visit the Faces of Farming and Ranching Online Voting page to learn more about the finalists, the work that each does and to watch short videos highlighting their farms and ranches. Then, vote for the candidates you believe best exemplifies the voice of modern agriculture.

This year’s finalists include Erin Brenneman, Iowa; Darrell Glaser, Texas; Jay Hill, N.M.; Brian Jones, Texas; Carrie Mess, Wis.; Jessica Potter, Colo.; Thomas Titus, Ill.; and Carla Wardin, Mich.

Only one vote per day per email address is allowed. Registering on Facebook is required in order to vote in order to ensure all votes are legitimate and non-fraudulent. Those not already on Facebook can sign up at Facebook.com.

The votes collected will be factored into the final decision determining the next Faces of Farming and Ranching. In addition to public votes, USFRA judges’ scores will also be factored into the decision. Winners will be announced on November 12 during a press conference at the National Association of Farm Broadcasting Convention in Kansas City.

Winners will serve in multiple high-visibility roles on behalf of USFRA, participating in a number of activities including national media interviews, advertising and public appearances. Winners will receive a $15,000 stipend to help cover the costs of being away from their operations. They will also receive professional media and speaker training as well as full support from USFRA through their year-long tenure.
