Indiana Farm Forecast 7/3/09

Warmer air will continue to push into the Midwest Friday and Friday night. Daytime highs here in Indiana will be in the lower to mid 80s. Farmers can expect dry weather through the day, but chances of rain and storms will return tonight and tomorrow. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be likely over the weekend, but all day rains are not expected. Low pressure will slide through the state Saturday night and early Sunday, giving us the best chances of rain. Some areas near Evansville, Vincennes and Bloomington could receive 1 to 1.5 inches by Sunday morning. High pressure will bring in very pleasant weather on Monday and Tuesday. The 11 to 15 day extended forecast averages temperatures and rainfall as near normal across the entire state.
