Indiana Farm Forecast 3/19/10

Low pressure and a sharp cold front will push into the Ohio Valley this weekend. Showers will be likely on Saturday and Sunday. The best chances of rain will be late Saturday afternoon, Saturday night and through the daylight hours on Sunday. Temperatures will drop to below normal readings as the front passes through. There is a possibility of a rain/snow mix in extreme northern Indiana, otherwise this system should mainly be a rain producer. Look for a cool start to next week, but another warming trend will send temperatures above normal by Tuesday and Wednesday. A strong storm system will roll in late Wednesday and Thursday, producing another round of showers. The 11 to 15 day extended forecast calls for below averages temperatures and above normal rainfall.
