While at BeanGoLand, located between the Farm Bureau Building and the Mac Reynolds Barn, fairgoers will be able to play BeanGo – a fun and interactive game introduced at last year’s Indiana State Fair. By answering questions about soybeans – and farming in general – while exploring the new Soybean Statue Garden, visitors can win fun prizes, including Dairy Bar milkshake coupons (while supplies last) in honor of the Year of Dairy Cows.
To play BeanGo, fairgoers can download the free BeanGo app to their smartphone at www.indianasoybean.com/beangoapp before they arrive at the fairgrounds or pick up a BeanGo card at BeanGoLand during the fair. “We are committed to connecting with our consumers,” said Wilson. “The Indiana State Fair may be the only interaction many of Hoosier have with agriculture all year long, and we want to make sure they understand what farming looks like in Indiana today and have the opportunity to ask questions of the Indiana soybean farmers volunteering at the exhibit.”
To stay up to date on all things soybean at the 2012 Indiana State Fair, visitors can follow Bennie the Bean on Facebook (www.facebook.com/BennietheBean) and Twitter (@BennietheBean) or visit www.indianasoybean.com/statefair.
