ISDA Announces David King as Local Foods Program Manager

 The Indianapolis State Department of Agriculture today announced that David A. King has been hired as the Local Foods Program Manager within the department’s Division of Economic Development.  “David is a great addition to ISDA. His extensive experience in the marketing and management industries is invaluable to our department,” said ISDA Director Ted McKinney. “His knowledge will truly aide in catapulting our programs to the next level.”

King is a University of Kentucky graduate with over 20 years of management and marketing experience. He has worked as President & Co-owner of Triple Crown Marketing, Inc., a Managing Director for the Kentucky Proud Branding Program (Allied Food Marketers), CEO & Co-owner of Rebekah Grace Food Supplements for Life, LLC (RG) & Kentucky Proud Producers, and most recently as an Independent Contractor with numerous companies, both local and national, in Sales and Marketing Development.

In his role as the Local Foods Program Manager, David will not only lead Local foods, but will also help manage and further develop the Indiana Grown Initiative, Farmer’s Markets and Food Hubs.
