The Pro Farmer Midwest Crop Tour is working its way through the fourth and final day, and Ty Higgins reports from near Des Moines that as the day started in south-central Iowa the first corn yield check wasn’t too impressive at 150 bushels per acre. The rolling average through their first 5 stops jumped to 185 with the improved yields seen as they moved north. Bean pod counts improved accordingly.
