Franklin County Cattle Producer Tim Schwab Elected NCBA Vice Chair of Policy

Tim Schwab, a native of the Batesville area in Franklin County, has been elected Vice Chair of Policy for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) during their recent convention in New Orleans.
Prior to his current role, Tim served as the NCBA Region 1 Vice President for policy. He is a past president of the Indiana Beef Cattle Association (IBCA) and past president of the Franklin County Cattlemen’s Association.
Schwab graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in animal science.  He has been married to his wife Karen for 33 years and they have three grown children – Amanda, Jacob and Ryan.
“Tim brings a lifetime of experience to this position,” said Joe Moore, IBCA’s Executive Vice President.  I greatly appreciate the willingness of all the candidates who stepped forward to volunteer their time to lead the NCBA and this great industry.”
