The Purdue Agricultural Alumni Association is seeking nominations for the 2026 Certificate of Distinction award, the highest award of the association.

This prestigious award recognizes those who have made significant, lasting contributions to agriculture, forestry or natural resources, whether through professional accomplishments, leadership in industry organizations, community impact or service to the field.

Honorees will be recognized at the 2026 Purdue Ag Alumni Fish Fry on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026.

Nominees do not have not to be a graduate of Purdue Agriculture or a resident of Indiana. However, all nominees for the Certificate of Distinction must have at least 25 years of experience. The nominee’s accomplishments will be judged in totality as a body of work.

Nominators are encouraged to solicit letters of recommendation from those who can attest to the nominee’s accomplishments and emphasize the impact of a nominee’s work.

The nomination deadline is Monday, Oct. 20.
