AgrIInstitute will honor the graduation of Agricultural Leadership Program (ALP) Class 21 and welcome Class 22 during the Leadership and Legacy Benefit located at Dull’s Tree Farm in Thorntown, Indiana on April 10th beginning at 5:30 pm.
“The funds raised from this event are essential to developing transformative agricultural leaders,” says AgrIInstitute Executive Director Beth Archer. “Your participation helps ensure we can continue equipping agricultural professionals with the skills and networks needed to shape the future of our industry. We look forward to celebrating achievements, welcoming new leaders, and investing in agriculture’s future together.”
The cost to attend this benefit is $100 which includes a meal and drink ticket.
Former Dean of the Purdue College of Agriculture Jay Akridge will be joining as a guest speaker. Akridge also served as Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Diversity at Purdue from 2017-2022 and is now the trustee chair in teaching and learning excellence and a professor of agricultural economics.
The Agricultural Leadership Program works to provide individuals involved in agriculture and those who serve rural communities with the opportunity to improve leadership skills, gain understanding and develop expertise needed to serve their businesses and communities. This program combines 12 seminars and two travel opportunities to allow participants to develop skills in real world scenarios. The travel opportunities include a week in Washington D.C. and approximately two weeks internationally.
