The Hoosier Ag This Week Podcast for 6/15/24

On this edition of Hoosier Ag This Week: Henry County farmer Matthew Chapman chats with Eric Pfeiffer about crop progress so far throughout East-central Indiana.

Chief Meteorologist Ryan Martin says we’ll be dealing with a lot of heat, humidity, and dry weather over the next seven-to-ten days. Plus, Brian Basting with Advance Trading reviews the grain markets following the release of USDA’s WASDE Report on Wednesday.

Also, you’ll hear from Malcolm DeKryger, President and Co-owner of Belstra in DeMotte, Indiana. They’re an independent livestock feed manufacturer that also owns and manages six sow farms that will produce over 550,000 pigs this year. He explains why they have opted to not comply with California’s Prop 12 regulations.

That’s all part of the Hoosier Ag This Week Podcast!
