The Hoosier Ag This Week Podcast for 8/30/25

On this edition of Hoosier Ag This Week: We were on the road at Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois earlier this past week. You’ll hear from USDA Deputy Secretary Stephen Vaden who talks about a possible “bridge” policy to help corn and soybean producers facing low commodity prices. Vaden also tells Hoosier Ag Today why Indianapolis was chosen as one of five regional hub locations for USDA.

Also from the Farm Progress Show, Eric Pfeiffer reports on new equipment that has just been introduced by Can-Am, and Greg Allen highlights an organization called Modern Ag Alliance which is making sure that farmers have the crop protection tools they need to succeed.

Brian Basting reviews Friday’s grain markets, and Ryan Martin has your Indiana Farm Forecast as we inch closer to harvest season. That’s all part of the Hoosier Ag This Week Podcast!
