On the latest episode of the “Your Community” Podcast: One of the greatest challenges facing those living in Indiana’s rural communities is access to quality childcare. Not only are there childcare “deserts”, but finding affordable childcare can also be challenging.
Dr. Brianne Wrede, Director of Community Childcare with Purdue Extension, talks about the effort to meet those challenges with the new Purdue Extension Community Childcare program, as well as a new Childcare Business Course to grow the number of well-trained providers.
