Fair Oaks Farms Master Cheesemaker Bruce Workman’s Havarti Pepper, Smoked Gouda and Havarti Dill took home honors at the 2014 World Championship Cheese Contest held in Madison, WI on March 18-19, 2014. Fair Oaks Farms’ Havarti Pepper won a Gold Medal as Best In Class in the Pepper Flavored Cheeses category. Fair Oaks Farms’ Hickory-Smoked Gouda won a Gold Medal as Best In Class in the Smoked Gouda category. Fair Oaks Farms’ Havarti Dill won Third Place honors in the Havarti Flavored category. “Fair Oaks Farms is committed to offering unparalleled quality in all of its products,” said Julie Basich, Fair Oaks Farms General Manager, “We are proud that Bruce’s efforts and Fair Oaks Farms Fine Cheeses have earned world championship recognition.”
The World Championship Cheese Contest posted a record 2,615 entrees from 22 countries.
