Farm Show Exhibitor Count Surges as Show Nears

The Indiana Farm Equipment and Technology Expo, held December 11-13 in the West Pavilion of the Indiana State Fairgrounds, will have over 180 exhibitors which is well above what show organizers had anticipated. “This past week, my phone has been ringing like crazy with people wanting to know if there was still room to exhibit at the show,” said show manager Toni Hodson. “What is even more exciting is that many of these late exhibitors are new to the show,” said Expo President Gary Truitt. “This shows that there is a growing bullishness about the farm economy and expectations for 2019.”

As word of the newly redesigned show has filtered through the Hoosier farm community, the excitement is building by both farmers and agribusinesses. Indiana weather can be fickle but, at this point, looks ideal for those traveling to the show. The over 3 acres of exhibit space in the West Pavilion will provide the perfect venue to display the newest technology in agriculture, both large and small.  The state’s leading farm broadcasters will be broadcasting from the Expo — including Gary Truitt, Andy Eubank, and Eric Pfeiffer from Hoosier Ag Today; Rob Winters from WOWO AM/FM; Bryan McGarvey from K105-FM; and Gale Cunningham from WYXY-FM.
