The HAT Soil Health Podcast- Making Your Organic Soil Matter Pay

On this edition of the HAT Soil Health Podcast, presented by the Conservation Cropping Systems Initiative, Hamilton County farmer Rodney Rulon discusses his presentation that he delivered at the Indiana Farm Equipment and Technology Expo titled, “Making Your Organic Soil Matter Pay.” Rulon has been no-till since the early 90s and using cover crops for the past 15 years. He tracks all of his data so he can put a dollar amount on his conservation efforts.

State Conservationist Jerry Raynor also appears on the podcast to discuss programs available to farmers interested in getting started or improving their existing conservation efforts.
