The Indiana Broadcasters Association has named the top stations in the state. During the annual Spectrum Awards lunch held Thursday in Carmel, Station of the Year honors were awarded for the best small market and large market stations. In both categories, Hoosier Ag Today affiliates took top honors.
Top station in the small market station category was WITZ in Jasper. WITZ has been an affiliate of Hoosier Ag Today since HAT’s inception in 2006. Other finalists in this category include WRSW, Warsaw and WQLK, Richmond. Both of these stations have been long time affiliates of HAT.
Station of the Year in the large market category was WTRC-FM in South Bend. WTRC has been airing HAT programs for several years. HAT affiliate WOWO was also a finalist in this category.
Other stations honored at the Spectrum awards included WKVI, Knox and WFRN, Elkhart.
