A debate between lieutenant governor candidates Sue Ellspermann (R), Brad Klopfenstein (L), and Vi Simpson (D) was held at the Indiana State Fair on August 15. Indiana agriculture was the focus of the hour long debate that featured some of the state’s top ag journalists as questioners. Moderated by Gerry Dick, of Inside INdiana Business, questions were posed by Dave Blower, editor, Farm World ; Jerry Goshert, editor, The Farmer’s Exchange; Megan Grebner, Indiana farm director, Brownfield Network; and Gary Truitt, president, Hoosier Ag Today.
