Oil Futures End Higher Friday, but Lower for the Week

Oil futures finished higher Friday, getting a lift from a solid U.S. nonfarms payrolls report that boosted expectations for energy demand. The U.S.economy added 217,000 jobs in May, beating expectations. Crude for July deliveryCLN4 +0.09% added 18 cents, or 0.2%, to end at $102.66 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. For the week, oil futures inched down 0.05%.
