RFA Says Big Oil’s Fictitious Tales Severely Undermined this Summer

The Renewable Fuels Association says developments this summer severely undermine Big Oil’s monopoly-protecting narrative. While Congress has been away – RFA President and CEO Bob Dinneen says much has happened to set the record straight on ethanol. He says rising gas prices have made the value proposition of ethanol compelling for consumers – with drivers turning out in large numbers to purchase record volumes of low cost, renewable E85.

Dinneen adds academics and government officials spoke out on successfully scaling the blend wall, the growing potential for a bin-busting harvest undermined the food versus fuel canard and USDA’s data has proven food inflation isn’t being driven by ethanol and the RFS.
