Presley Hampton from Jackson County Crowned Miss Indiana State Fair 2026

When the Indiana State Fair returns this summer, Presley Hampton, Miss Jackson County 2025, will be wearing the crown and sash as Miss Indiana State Fair 2026.

Hampton was selected on Sunday among 83 contestants each representing their home counties.

She is the second Miss Indiana State Fair to hail from Jackson County in the 67-year history of the pageant. Mariah Huff from Jackson County was Miss Indiana State Fair 2013.

Hampton is originally from Brownstown, Indiana and graduated from Brownstown Central High School with High Honors. She was elected Class President, Booster Club President, and Vice President of the National Honor Society. While in high school, she launched a student-led spirit wear boutique at Brownstown Central High School, creating hands on business experience for her peers.

She is currently a student at Purdue University with a major in Selling and Sales Management. She plans to continue her education at the Fashion Institute of Technology to pursue a career in sales and brand building within the formalwear industry.

A 10-year 4-H member from Jackson County, Hampton has earned Champion, Grand Champion, and State Fair honors in 4-H Sewing and Fashion Revue. Her success in these programs led to a designer assistant internship with a leading formalwear brand. She also serves as a mentor for Jackson County 4-H members.

  • 1st Runner-up: Kylie Cox – Miss Tippecanoe County
  • 2nd Runner-up: Addison Buckley – Miss Hancock County
  • 3rd Runner-up: Alexis Wilhoite – Miss Vermillion County
  • 4th Runner-up: Gretchen Link – Miss Jay County

Addie Morris, Miss Johnson County, was selected by the contestants as Miss Congeniality 2026.

The Indiana State Fair Queen plays a key role in promoting the Indiana State Fair by traveling an estimated 10,000 miles during June and July to visit approximately 50 county fairs to promote the upcoming Indiana State Fair, Aug. 7-23, 2026. The Indiana State Fair will be closed on Mondays.
